Code review and refactoring
Review pull requests and refactor across a whole repository in one context, with the repeated context cached.
Why the bill is hard to read
An agent that edits code makes many calls, and most of each call is the same repository context. A price per token hides how many calls one change needs.
How AVELIN is used
The coding family has a 1M-token context, so a repository can fit in one request. Keep the repository context at the start of each call so it is cached. Use avelin-coding-fast for small fixes, avelin-coding-pro for review and multi-file changes, and avelin-coding-ultra for design and migration plans.
Load
Put the repository map and the style guide at the start of the request.
Review
avelin-coding-pro reads the diff and comments on it.
Change
avelin-coding-fast makes small fixes. avelin-coding-pro handles multi-file edits.
Plan
avelin-coding-ultra drafts the design for a large migration.
Tiers and list prices
USD per 1M tokens unless stated, list price as of 3 October 2026.
| Model or endpoint | Used for | List price |
|---|---|---|
avelin-coding-fast | Small fixes | $0.30 in, $1.20 out. Cache read $0.03. |
avelin-coding-pro | Review and multi-file changes | $1.40 in, $4.40 out. Cache read $0.26. |
avelin-coding-ultra | Design and migration plans | $2.50 in, $12.50 out. Cache read $0.52. |
What to count
Cost per task = the sum, over every call in the task, of (input tokens × input price + output tokens × output price) ÷ 1,000,000. Add cache write and cache read tokens at their own rates, and add any web requests at their per-request price.
- Calls per pull request or per fixed bug.
- Tokens in the repository context and in the diff.
- Cache read tokens compared with input tokens in the usage log.
Count this workload on your own runs, or request a POC and we price one workload at list price beside your current bill.
