Agreement review against a checklist
Read long agreements against your own checklist and list the clauses that differ, with the clause text quoted.
Why the bill is hard to read
Agreements are long and the checklist is the same every time. Sending the checklist again on every call is the largest avoidable cost.
How AVELIN is used
Put the checklist first and the agreement after it, so the checklist is cached. The pro tier reads the agreement in its 256K-token context and lists the differences. Clauses marked hard go to avelin-ultra. A person decides every outcome. AVELIN gives no legal advice.
Prepare
Write the checklist once and use it as a fixed prefix for every agreement.
Read
avelin-pro compares each clause with the checklist and quotes the clause text it relied on.
Escalate
Send the clauses marked hard to avelin-ultra for a second reading.
Decide
A lawyer reviews the list and decides what to do with each item.
Tiers and list prices
USD per 1M tokens unless stated, list price as of 3 October 2026.
| Model or endpoint | Used for | List price |
|---|---|---|
avelin-pro | Read the agreement against the checklist | $1.40 in, $4.40 out. Cache read $0.26. |
avelin-ultra | Second reading of clauses marked hard | $2.50 in, $12.50 out. Cache read $0.52. |
What to count
Cost per task = the sum, over every call in the task, of (input tokens × input price + output tokens × output price) ÷ 1,000,000. Add cache write and cache read tokens at their own rates, and add any web requests at their per-request price.
- Tokens in the checklist and in a typical agreement.
- Calls per agreement, including second readings.
- Cache read tokens compared with input tokens in the usage log.
