POC

A POC on one workload.

A POC is a proof of concept on one of your workloads. We run the Decision Layer on it and show the cost per task next to your current setup.

Runs beside your current setup. Nothing in your production path.

How a POC runs

  1. Your workload.

You share a sample of your AI tasks: real tasks with the sensitive parts removed, real tasks under an NDA, or made-up tasks. You choose.

  2. Our Decision Layer.

It reads each task and picks a model from the providers you connect, next to the choice you make today.

  3. Side by side.

You get a cost-per-task report. It shows your current bill and the Decision Layer's, task by task, at list prices.

Request a POC

Tell us about one workload. The form asks for no confidential data.

Names only, for example the model providers and clouds. It helps us choose which to compare in the report.

Tell us if data must stay in a country or on your hardware. It goes into the scope.

A POC can run on made-up or stripped tasks. Tell us what you are able to share.

For example a security review, an outsourcing review or a data law.

NDA first

Choose yes if we should sign an NDA before you share anything about the workload.

Do not include confidential data in this form.

We reply by email with a one-page scope. The scope states how long the POC runs and whether it has a fee, before you accept anything. We use the details above to reply and to prepare the scope. See the website privacy policy.

What you send and what you get

What you send

  • Token counts and bills only. No task text leaves your side. Use the log format of the log pricer on the price page.
  • Made-up tasks, or real tasks with the sensitive parts removed. The Decision Layer reads the opening of each request, so its choice for each task needs the text.
  • Real tasks, under an NDA. If your data location allows it.

What you get

A cost-per-task report on your own workload at list prices. It has one row per task: your current bill, what the same tokens would cost on each AVELIN tier, and the choice the Decision Layer made, with totals at the end. It also reports the latency the Decision Layer adds on your sample, and gives a price for the Decision Layer, per request.

How it is scoped

We reply by email with a one-page scope. It states the workload, the data we need and where it is processed, how long it is kept, which terms apply and how long the POC runs. If your data cannot leave your country or network, say so in the data location field. A POC for an enterprise or hybrid deployment starts from the same form.

What the report looks like

One row per task: what you paid, and what the same tokens would have cost on each AVELIN tier at list prices, with the choice the Decision Layer made marked. The rows where AVELIN costs more come first, and a real report ends with totals.

Questions about a POC

What is a POC?

A POC is a proof of concept on one of your workloads. We run the Decision Layer on a sample of your tasks, beside your current setup, and show the cost per task side by side at list prices.

What do you need from us?

A sample of your AI tasks, and the bill you pay for them today. You choose how much to share: token counts and bills only, made-up tasks, real tasks with the sensitive parts removed, or real tasks under an NDA.

Does a POC touch our production path?

No. It runs beside your current setup, so nothing in your production path changes and nothing is switched over.

What do we get?

A cost-per-task report. It shows your current bill and the Decision Layer's, task by task, at list prices, with the tasks where the Decision Layer costs more listed first. It also reports the latency the Decision Layer adds on your sample, and gives a price for the Decision Layer, per request.

Who sees our data?

The written scope states what data we need, where it is processed and how long it is kept, before any data is sent. If you ask for an NDA, it is signed before you share anything about the workload.

What happens next?

We reply by email with a one-page scope. Nothing starts, and nothing is charged, before you have read it and accepted it. If the numbers hold, you can move to AVELIN Cloud, or run on your own GPUs.

Not ready to send a workload?

Look around first. The live demo runs a task on a flagship model and on AVELIN, and the API takes two lines to try.
