# Private deployment.

AVELIN on GPUs you control. You decide where the system runs and who can reach it.

### What the word means

Some buyers call this sovereign AI. Here it means one thing: you, not a vendor or a cloud, decide where the system runs and who can reach it.

A private deployment is AVELIN running on hardware you control. AVELIN Cloud is the same models and the Decision Layer, run by AVELIN, if you want to start there.

- Deployment (https://avelin.ai/deployment)

### What runs there

The AVELIN inference layer, optimized for your GPUs, the nine AVELIN models, the API platform and, if you want it, the Decision Layer. Which models your site runs, and on which GPUs, is settled in the written scope.

### What a scope settles

Every private deployment is scoped in writing before anything is installed. Each row is something the written scope states.

- Where it runs: The site and the hardware, on GPUs you control, in a network you control.
- What leaves: Every network path the software opens, such as updates or support access, and for each one whether it is on or off.
- Who has access: Who can reach the system, how any vendor support access is granted, and who approves it.
- Hardware: The GPU class and how many, for each tier you need.
- Updates: How new versions and models reach you, and who installs them.
- Licence: The terms on which you run the software and each model.
- Support: Who supports it, and when.
- Records: What is logged, where it is kept, and what we may see.
- Time and price: How long from agreement to a first install, and how it is priced.

To start, request a POC and say in the notes that you want AVELIN on your own hardware. The scope states who does what, what counts as success, and whether there is a fee.

**What does a written scope settle?**
Where it runs, what leaves, who has access, hardware, updates, licence, support, records, and time and price. It lists every network path the software opens and whether each is on or off.

**What runs on our GPUs?**
The AVELIN inference layer, optimized for your GPUs, the nine AVELIN models, the API platform and, if you want it, the Decision Layer. Which models your site runs, and on which GPUs, is settled in the written scope.

**How do we start?**
With a POC on one workload, then a written scope, then the install on your GPUs.

**What does it cost?**
A deployment on your GPUs is priced in the written scope. AVELIN Cloud has public list prices.
